In this population based study of 1,037 individuals, cannabis (marijuana) and tobacco use was reported at ages 18, 21, 26 and 32 yrs. Findings for cumulative marijuana use were better than those who smoke tobacco, and in fact were similar to those who did not smoke tobacco.
