These days it’s becoming easier and easier to find positive news about the pain reducing effects of cannabis (marijuana). Sometimes these results come from complex clinical trials, and sometimes simply from real patient feedback.
In this report of medical marijuana users in Hawaii, 100 individuals seeking re-certification were asked to complete a survey regarding the benefits they had experienced. The average age of the patient was 49.3 years.
Not surprisingly, 97% of them report using cannabis to relieve chronic pain, and the average pain relief was an astounding 64% decrease. But in addition, half of them also experienced relief from anxiety/stress, and nearly half reported relief from insomnia. And finally, 71% of them reported no adverse reactions.
Again, medical marijuana was shown to be an extremely safe and effective natural medicinal choice for chronic pain sufferers.
